Tough Times, But We’re Still Spinning
We want you to know how much you mean to us, and how much we love our community. None of us have ever been through a period of uncertainty quite like the one we’re experiencing now with coronavirus. We’re in this together.
As cyclists, we are taking “social distancing” seriously. Our actions today save lives tomorrow. We’re balancing that with trying to stay healthy — mentally and physically. Right now bike rides feel like lifelines, and solo expeditions that are close to home feel safe. Of course, we’re paying attention to CDC and health officials’ recommendations.
As far as business operations, we’re following the same model. Head wheel builder Chris McGovern is building wheels in his shop, and I’m running day to day operations from our Portland HiFi HQ. We’re taking orders via our website and email. The distribution and factory production we rely on is impacted, and we’re doing our best to stay stocked with key components.
If you’re in a place where bike rides benefit your health and are low risk, we hope you’re able to get out. And if you need wheels to make that happen, we are here for you.
