Totally. Tubular. If you know, you know. Tubeless tire technology has come a long way, and the best tubeless setups are (very) race-worthy. But for the ultimate in cyclocross performance, tubulars still reign supreme.
Cyclocross is etched into HiFi’s DNA. Our company launched in Oregon’s mud, in the fall of 2013, and ’cross has always been special for us. The EPCX Disc wheels represent our best cyclocross wheels to date, and that’s saying a lot. Our wheels have won women’s and men’s Pan Am championships; podiumed at World Cups; and taken home national titles. The 35mm depth is ideal for its blend of light weight, stiffness, acceleration, and aerodynamics for the ’cross course. Just 1230 grams per set! Get ready to rip.
Our EPCX Anti-Flutter Disc wheel sets spin on the latest iteration of our Fidelity R36 Disc centerlock hubs, which use a 4-pawl system engaging with a 36-tooth ring. The R36 Disc hubs offer quick and reliable engagement, light weight, and dependability. They’re also easy to service when the need arises, with bearings that are easy to access and no proprietary tools required. We lace them up with top-tier Sapim bladed spokes and securelock alloy nipples.
