As for the wheels themselves, we have SSCXWCXPDX edition EP Tubular Discs (38mm carbons); Mix Tape Disc tubeless-ready alloy clinchers; and Mix Tape Bomber rim brake tubeless-ready alloy clinchers. There’s also a very, very limited stock of EP Clincher Discs — as in a few sets. Get going if you want those.
Truth be told, they’re all freakin’ awesome. The EP sets are ultra-bling to begin with. The rims provide an ideal canvas to get really funky with the amazing SSCX custom graphics. One-third of the front rim and two-thrids of the rear rim gets the royal “Space Hoops” treatment. Your ride — and your life — will be way better once you get these wheels. Guaranteed.
The two alloy Mix Tape options — both race-worthy workhorses in their own right — get gussied up with the SSCX 3D-block graphics. It’s a smaller canvas, but still a whole lotta rad.
Even though these are single speed-inspired designs, all of the SSCXWCXPDX wheelsets come with HiFi’s 11-speed freehubs. Run spacers and a single cog on race day, and have the versatility to use these hoops for other things in your life, too. Because we care.
