Description: Session30 ASYM
The HiFi Session30 ASYM wheels bring the true MTB heat, with a modern, lightweight-but-super-strong hookless, asymmetric carbon tubeless ready clincher that perfectly supports your All Mountain and Trail adventures. Many modern XC riders also opt for the wider profile of the Session30 ASYM, and gravel riders running 2.0″ and up are often selecting this rim for better tire support, and less squirm, at lower pressures. The Session carbon design makes it easy to hammer on the climbs with the durability needed for re-entry from higher altitudes. The new rim profile measures in at a 30mm internal rim width, making it ideal for tires from +/- 2.0″ up to 2.5″. There’s no upper limit to what these rims can handle, but that’s the “sweet spot.” The 27.5 rims weigh just 380g, and 29er rims just 405g! And the asymmetric rim profile balances our spoke tensions, making for an even stiffer and stronger wheel build.
Whether 27.5 or 29er, all Session wheels are shipped with lockrings, tubeless tape, and valves included, ready to take your existing ride and amplify it.
Updated MTB Hubs
HiFi offers a MTB-specific disc hub, both in Boost and regular 100mm / 142mm spacing (or 135mm for those QR holdouts out there). The Fidelity M Disc centerlock has regular disc spacing, while the Fidelity Boost takes care of the wider axle needs. The rear hub has 6 offset pawls with two engagement points each, and they interact with a ring that sports 102 teeth. That translates to an engagement angle of less than 2 degrees — lightning quick!
Fidelity M Disc and Boost hubs are now all centerlock, but we do offer some really nifty adaptors for those looking to run 6-bolt rotors.
Some Future Proofing and Built-in Flexibility
Any of the Session wheels can be built around our Fidelity Boost hubs (110mm front, 148mm rear). And for those running non-Boost setups, the Fidelity M Disc front hub quickly converts to 15mm or 12mm thru-axle, or to quick release, and the rear hub converts to a 142×12 or 135mm QR. End caps to match your preferred setup are included with all of our MTB wheels. All of our HiFi Fidelity Disc hubs can be set up with with 11-speed Shimano/SRAM freehub bodies; SRAM XD / XDR Drivers; or Microspline freehubs. Fear not: these are future proof (or at least future resistant)!
Session Liner Notes
Rim profiles: Session30 ASYM rims are 26mm deep and have a 30mm internal width, with an asymmetric rim profile. All Sessions are hookless rims.
Hubs: HiFi Fidelity M Disc and Fidelity Boost hubs with lightning fast engagement at less than 2 degrees. Japanese stainless steel bearings. Durable, dependable and light.

Discipline: The wider Session30 ASYM wheels are great for trail / all-mountain riding, and many XC riders/racers and gravel adventurers also opt for the increased tire stability these offer for 2.0″ and up tires.
