HiFi Wheels at the 2025 MADE Handmade Bike Show Yakima Booth
We're so grateful to Yakima for adding three stunning, handmade bikes rocking hand-built HiFi wheels to their booth at this year's MADE show. Here are some quick hits about each bike:
After Hours "SUKHO" x HiFi
From Bradford of After Hours Frame Building:
This bike was a really special build for a good friend of mine who was hit by a truck while out riding one day. He spent a long time in the hospital, letting his body heal and learning how to walk again. On one of my visits, while he was still lying in bed, I told him that when he was ready, I’d build him a new bike to replace the one he lost. At the time, I didn’t realize how much that promise meant, but later he told me it gave him something to look forward to and the motivation to keep moving.
Eventually, he walked out of that hospital and made his way to my workshop. We sat and talked about what his next bike could be, something he could ride anywhere, a bike that would carry him on his “Tour de Espresso,” as he called it. He loved finding new coffee shops and creating little adventures out of the rides to and from, no matter how close or far they were.
While I was building the frame, he was grinding away at rehab and even started riding again. I gave him the frame so he could get it painted, but before that could happen, he had a heart attack one morning while out on his bike, taking his last pedal strokes.
I decided to finish this bike for him, to honor his journey, his spirit, and to show just how powerful a bicycle can be. To learn more visit afterhoursframebuilding.com.

After Hours "The Dirt Bike" x HiFi
The Dirt Bike blurs the line between MTB and gravel, for countless adventures right out our front door, chasing as much dirt as we can find. It’s built for comfort, capability, and choice, whether that means big tire clearance, room for all the bottles and snacks you need, lights for early starts and late finishes, or fenders to keep you (and your riding crew) rolling in all conditions. Simply put: this bike was made for dirt, wherever you find it.

HiFi x Pursuit Supple Road
Pursuit makes absolutely stunning custom carbon bikes in Bozeman, Montana. For this Supple Road rig, we leaned hard into the "sports bike" theme, and went all-in on the Ferrari aesthetic. The HiFi LP60 Disc wheels, of course, were just the ticket for full-bore speed and ripping the tarmac. Technically, there's clearance for 32mm tires but if you see the bike in person, you'll notice that the 34mm Vittoria Corsa PRO Control tires fit nicely, with room! Pursuit is the brainchild of the legendary frame builder Carl Strong. Find out more at the Strong Frames website

HiFi x Seeker Custom Ti CX "Ti Fighter"
Seeker is Chris McGovern's brand for custom steel and titanium bikes; Chris also makes carbon bikes under McGovern Cycles. For this steed, we wanted true cyclocross handling, but with room for some bigger rubber for adventure rides, too. In person, you'll notice that it's been converted from a cyclocross racing setup (as pictured above, complete with HiFi EPCX 35 carbon tubulars!) to full adventure-mode. Now we're rocking the HiFi Session25 ASYM carbon wheels, with a 26.5mm internal rim width, and an absolutely unbeatable ride quality for responsiveness for all those off-road adventures.
We added a longer Garbaruk derailleur cage with oversized pulleys to the GRX Di2 setup to clear a 10-50 11-speed cassette. Local Portland frame painter Right Hook Finishes applied the iconic Keith Haring artwork to take this puppy to the next level! More info on Seeker at the Seeker Adventure Gear website.

HiFi x Squid Shred to Ed's
If bike riding isn't fun, then what the heck are we even doing!? Squid has Ventana Bikes in NorCal hand build these aluminum 26" BMX cruisers to their specs. We made a 26" version of our badass Hootenanny aluminum wheels for this shred sled. For graphics, we turned to one of our favorite Portland brewers, Royale Brewing (R.I.P.), and wheat pasted some of their beer bottle labels to the raw aluminum frame, and added their flying pig logo under the clear coat. More info about Squid on the Squid website.
