SAVE THE RIM BRAKE!

We made a limited batch of MIDI3038 wheelsets, which feature a 30mm tall, 19mm internal front wheel paired with a 38mm depth 17.5mm internal width rear wheel. The shallow front won't get blown around in crosswinds, and the slightly narrower rear means this will fit older rim brake bikes with limited tire clearance.

Rims are tubeless ready and ship with tubeless valves, tape, our fantastic enclosed cam skewers, and a set of our HiFi Stellar carbon brake pads. Rim brake bikes are lighter, amazing, and deserve high-performance shoes like these.

Our MIDI3038 SL wheels are brilliant all-arounders. The shallow front means it’s light and will spin up super quickly, and coupled with its ANTI-FLUTTER™ profile, it’s nearly impervious to crosswinds. The 38mm rear gives just a little bit more aero advantage while keeping with the lightweight theme. The MIDI3038 are ideal for general road racing and riding and hill climbs. 

The MIDI3038 spin on the latest iteration of our Fidelity R36SL straight pull hubs, which use a 4-pawl system engaging with a 36-tooth ring. The R36SL hubs offer quick and reliable engagement, light weight, and dependability. They're also easy to service when the need arises, with bearings that are easy to access and no proprietary tools required. We lace up our MIDI3038 SLs with top-tier Sapim CX-RAY bladed spokes for their ideal blend of lightweight, aerodynamics, high strength, and sublime ride quality.

Rim depth: 30mm front / 38mm rear tubeless ready carbon clincher

Rim width: 25mm at tire interface, with a toroidal Anti-Flutter profile. 19mm internal width front / 17.5mm internal rim width rear.

Hubs: HiFi Fidelity Fidelity R36SL straight pull non-disc hubs with a 24h (2:1) rear. Japanese stainless steel cartridge bearings. Durable, dependable, and light.

Freehub: Shimano/SRAM HG; Campagnolo; SRAM XDR/XD Drivers; Microspline

Spokes: SL sets have 18h / 24h 2:1 ratio rear (16 2x on Drive Side, 8 straight pull radial on Non-Drive Side). We lace them up with top-tier Sapim CX-Ray spokes for their ideal blend of lightweight, high strength, and sublime ride quality.

Wheel Weight: 1350g

Discipline: Any ride where you want to be able to spin up and accelerate quickly, and for anything that tilts uphill! They're an ideal, every day setup, especially for windier locales. 

Notes: Tubeless tape, valves, HiFi Stellar carbon brake pads and quick release skewers included. Freehubs installed to match your requirements.

Tire choice: Our MIDI3038 SL rims require a 23mm or wider road tire (we recommend 25mm and up).
