The Mix Tape Bombers use the same rim as the Mix Tape SL and X rim brake models, but use a double butted Sapim Race round spoke instead of the high-zoot bladed spokes we use in the upper-end models. The nipples are brass instead of alloy. And the hub is a bit heavier, doesn’t have the anti-bite feature on the cassette, and uses a 3-pawl system, so engagement isn’t quite as quick.
